About Us

Mark Young is a 20 year veteran Business Education and Computer Science Teacher and has been on the teaching faculty at Webster Groves High School for the last 18 years. In addition to teaching the newest in the IT and Computer Science fields, Mr. Young also servers as his school's Technology Integration Support Specialist, Lead Canvas LMS Adviser and staff trainer, Business Education Department Chair, IT and Computer Science Curriculum writer, and is the go to staff member for staff technical computer problems.

The origin of schoolsToday! is rooted in Mr. Young's desire to fill his school's gap in resources when teachers did not have a reliable product to use when requesting students for their weekly academic networking period. Using his extensive background in computer science and his undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from Saint Louis University (2003), Mr. Young filled the void with his Academic Networking Scheduler application. With over 25,000 student requests to date, his application is used daily at Webster Groves High School in Webster Groves, Missouri. schoolsToday! was launched to bring his product to more schools and help schools do what they do best: educate, support and prepare students for their futures!
